Chapter Monthly Business Meeting
The Rock Hill Alumnae Chapter meets on the second Saturday of each month, September through June. A Sisterhood Breakfast is served beginning at 9 am; the meeting begins promptly at 10 am. Visiting members must present their membership card and valid identification upon arrival. Please go to the Visiting Sorors page for more information.
Meetings are ONLY open to duly initiated members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. NOTE: Individuals seeking membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will NOT be admitted into the chapter meeting.

The members of the Rock Hill Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. are charged with providing services that are relevant, reliable, viable and visible in our community. We are committed to providing services, promoting events and initiatives that encourage and advocate for education, health, wellness, social and political action and involvement, financial stability and understand the plight of those less fortunate here and abroad. The Rock Hill Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. proudly congratulates our own, Soror Jennifer Hutchinson on her historic election as Member-at-Large to the Rock Hill School Board. Soror Hutchinson will be a voice for all Rock Hill families and educators, working on solutions for exceptional education. Her victory demonstrates her passion and unwavering commitment to supporting the Rock Hill community, dedication to our children for the best educational experience and championing equity and equality for every student and educator. We are proud of her significant accomplishment and achievement and look forward to seeing her invaluable contributions to the betterment of Rock Hill schools.

Join our Youth Initiative Programs
Rock Hill Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta has three Youth Initiative Programs: Delta Academy (Girls ages 11-14), Delta G.E.M.S. (Girls ages 14-17) and EMBODI (Boys ages 13-18). The programs focus on mentoring, empowering and community service, encourage and promote academic excellence, self-awareness and self esteem and provide the tools for a successful future.

Each of Delta’s programmatic initiatives has an advocacy component that is implemented under the auspices of social action when it is appropriate or necessary to do so. Under the auspices of the National Social Action Commission, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. continues to institute activities that foster:

The Rock Hill Alumnae chapter continues this involvement in the York County community by conducting voter registration drives and political candidate forums. We also attend Delta Days at the State’s and Nation’s Capitals, an annual legislative conference to increase members’ involvement in the national public policy-making process.
