Garrick-Ramseur Memorial Scholarships

The Rock Hill Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., annually awards the Garrick-Ramseur Memorial Scholarships. The scholarships are given in memory of our deceased sorority members, Margaret Garrick and Essie Ramseur. Scholarships may go toward studies at an accredited two-year (including technical school, junior college, or community college) or four-year institution with the award amount split between two consecutive academic terms. Preference is given to minority applicants.
Each year, the chapter presents multiple scholarship awards ranging between $500- $2000. Scholarship applications are available to high school seniors who meet the following criteria:
- Attend a York County high school or current/past Rock Hill Alumnae Jabberwock participant
- Scholarship: 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Demonstrate Service: Applicant must demonstrate involvement in community service (school and non-school).
- Demonstrate Leadership: Applicant must show leadership through active membership in school or community organizations.
